Here is the model I designed to be printed using a 3D Printer.

Laser Cutting Persian Calligraphy

When traditional artists spend hours and hours to do Fret Works (Monabat kari) by using saw, technology nowadays let us use laser cutters and do it in minutes.
The folowing video shows how I used laser cutter to cut out persian calligraphy on wood.

Solid 3d Model, Skinning, and Armatures !!!

Not too bad for the first time, but I should say that it's hard if you don't have a solid model and it gets extremely harder when you need to select partial vertexes of the whole object and assign it to one of the armatures. if you miss some vertexes, they would get streached rather than being moved with rest of the mesh. 
I'm going to cut the model in two pieces from the middle tomorrow and hopefully send it to the 3d printer.
*it's 10:20 pm and i'm still sitting in class and fighting with it! gotta gave up and learn from your mistakes sometimes!
